It allows very fast magazine extraction from the magazine holder. This variant of the holder is equipped with a safety strap, which, for example, prevents the possibility of the magazine being removed by an intruder or which may be required by the user's service regulations. The design of the safety strap allows the user to shorten it to the specific size of the charger in use. The manufacturer supplies the charger cradle already with the safety strap fitted.
This type of bracket uses the UBC-02 quick-coupling flat clamp design, which allows it to be quickly inserted on a belt with one hand and without the need to undo the belt. Compared to the UBC-01 clamp, the distance between the belt and the magazine is smaller with this type of clamp. The magazine can be rotated relative to the belt through a full 360 degree circle with 16 locking positions. It can also be attached to the M.O.L.L.E. support system.
