Plate holder for rescue service and law enforcement
This plate holder from our Vulcan series has very compact dimensions. At the same time, the Vulcan Minimal High-Vis offers very high visibility. Therefore this plate holder is suitable for use in rescue services and law enforcement.
On the front, back and shoulder straps are wide reflective strips. The user is easily recognizable from a long distance. The design of the plate carrier is minimized, allowing it to be worn both on underwear and over clothing.
The front and back of the Vulcan Minimal High-Vis Minimal have plate pockets to accommodate hard or soft ballistic inserts. With these protective inserts on the chest and back area, it protects you from the impact of bullets and stab wounds.
Belt for stepless plate carrier
The belt is used for continuous adjustment of the plate support around the circumference of the body. The belt is 10 cm wide and made of an elastic band. The elastic band is attached to the front and back plate pocket with Velcro. The elastic band is very flat and tight. The belts are supplied in two lengths. Three or four elastic inserts can be used. The sides of the belt can be used to carry radios, tools, sprays and other items. Optionally, other items can be secured with safety kits.

Waist size/circumference adjustment is adjustable from 85 cm to 115 cm. Two band sizes are available for this purpose.

Pockets for ballistic protection plates
Vulcan Minimal High-Vis plate pouches are available in sizes M and L. These sizes are based on SAPI ballistic standards. The M plate pocket corresponds to the dimensions 25 cm x 30 cm. Size L is designed for ballistics with dimensions 27 cm x 33 cm. Ballistic inserts or plates are simply inserted into the pocket and secured inside with Velcro to prevent them from slipping out. Since ballistic inserts and plates have different construction heights, this has been taken into account in the dimensions of the plate pockets.
- Size M can accommodate a hard ballistic plate or a soft ballistic insert up to a build-up height of 2 cm.
- Size L can accommodate hard and soft ballistic inserts in combination. Independent plates can also be inserted. A maximum accumulation height of 2.5 to 3 cm is possible.
Extending the plate holder
When using the Vulcan Minimal High-Vis, you have the option of attaching additional equipment to the faceplate pocket. The plate holder pads can be attached to the velcro strips inside. They increase wearing comfort. There is a horizontal area with Velcro sewn into the outside of the plate pockets. Identification patches can be attached here to identify the user.
The flaps can be attached to the additional equipment holder. For this purpose, a horizontal MOLLE row is sewn on the front of the holder.
