Very, very much alike / identical to the genuine US Army cutlery. I know what I am writing, having myself both WW2 and Vietnam era, spoons, forks and knives. The only flaws the lack of the manufacturer stamping inside the spoon and fork. I suppose that would be quite difficult to cast for Mil-Tec their logo, having in sight the lack of the available space.
Another shortcoming of the fork is that, its teeth make the fork totally useless. You cannot pick anything with the fork...
It took me about an hour to sharpen the teeth of the fork by handling an adequate file. Finally, the fork as good as a genuine US made !
Regarding the knife, SEMS 1942 is brilliantly stamped, just like the original stamping of the WW2 era manufacturers.
You cannot use the blade of the knife as a razor blade ! but as it sold it is workable. I do not wish to modify the sharpness of the knife as I am fully pleased with it.
Finally, these pieces fill in successfully, every WW2 US enthusiast's field gear.
Congratulations for having them available at such affordable cost !!!
